As to Orlando diving, it’s worth mentioning that the best Orlando dive sites are found around 2 hours’ drive from downtown. Blue Springs State Park is one of the most favorite dive sites and the closet to downtown Orlando and the attractions, which is a designated Manatee Refuge and the winter home to a growing population of West Indian Manatees.

Blue Grotto is another beautiful and popular dive site, blessed with about a 100 feet exceptional visibility. This is considered to be the safest cavern dive in the area, where visitors have the unique experience to see fossils, as well an array of aquatic life on the guided dive. Keep in mind that while diving in Blue Grotto an open water diving certification is required.

Divers also appreciate Rainbow River at a depth of 8 meters, which is rich in very large bass, garfish and a wide variety of turtles. Underwater photographers will be able to take great shots! Other famous dive sites include Devil’s Den, ideal for fossil dive, Ginnie Springs with the most beautiful cave system in Orlando and Kings Spring, 22 meters in length that is home to large tarpon, blue crabs, large catfish and hundreds of mangrove snapper.
